An excellent group of sharp violet fluorite crystals from the Coalcleugh Mine, West Allendale, North Pennines, Northumberland, England. A very nice specimen for this classic old British locality. The fluorite crystals are sharp and in good condition, and have distinctive color zonation with grayish interiors and gemmier violet outer corners. Probably collected in the 1950′s- this mine has been closed for some years now.

M-010: Calcite with Hematite Inclusions: Egremont, West Cumberland Iron Ore Field, Cumbria, England: $550.00
A fine specimen in excellent condition, especially considering this specimen’s size and that it probably dates to the late 19th Century. Displays nicely with good aesthetics. The hematite inclusions are a classic attribute and give the piece some great display pizzazz. From the noted collection of Buck Keller of Mechanicsville, Maryland- Buck acquired this specimen from Cosias Preciosas via Kristalle. An increasingly rare European Classic!!

M-012: Barite: Frizington, West Cumberland Iron Ore Field, Cumbria, England: $350.00
A very nice large barite from this classic British locality, with interesting form and color zoning. Unfortunately, while it may be a natural termination (I’m not 100% sure), one large crystal appears to be cleaved- this is not as fatal a flaw in this specimen as one might think though, as the other crystals are in excellent shape and it still displays nicely. This keeps this piece affordable for a large/gemmy Frizington barite.

A very nice sharp white-gray Fluorapatite crystal from Snarum, Buskerud, Norway. Ex. Metropolis Minerals with old price tag on the crystal; also Ex. Buck Keller collection of Mechanicsville, Maryland.  Missing one corner but overall in nice shape. A rare European classic!

A very good pyrite from this classic old Mexican locality. Ex. Scott Williams and Mineral Hill with old labels; also Ex. Buck Keller collection of Mechanicsville, Maryland. the specimen was purchased the specimen in 1957 for $7.50, a not insubstantial sum for the time. An unusual classic!
