Elbaite

Beautiful large red rubellite tourmaline crystal with a classic trigonal pyramid termination from older finds in Luc Yen, Vietnam. While this crystal is very slightly rounded from alluvial transport, it has retained fairly sharp faces and good luster, and is in great condition on all sides. A good tourmaline from a rare and uncommon locality!
