Beautiful specimen of bright green metatorbernite crystals forming a drusy crust on altered siliceous dolostone matrix. This habit appears similar to a second generation of lighter green crystals present on some specimens, but this piece lacks the earlier generation of larger, thinner, darker tabular crystals. A great Musonoi mine specimen and unusual for this mineral at the locality. This specimen was illustrated in the Mineralogical Record “Mineral Collections of the Northeastern United Stated” in the Eric Quinter chapter (page 273, July-August 2016). Classic!!
