Outstanding, highly-unusual specimen of crystallized uraninite with impressive size and density (super heavy for its size!) from an unusual and classic New Hampshire locality. Mega “hot”, measuring ~200,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with thed 44-9 probe. Sharp uraninite crystals to over 1 cm. protrude from one side of the specimen, otherwise it is basically solid uraninite with just a little bit of feldspar. Very rare!!
