Superb, very large, well-formed group of Euxenite-(Y) crystals showing the typical yellow-brown surficial alteration so common of this REE mineral, from Andrianady, Tsaratanana District, Betsiboka, Madagascar. Exceptional example of this rare species with a great provenance, with labels from the noted collections of Dr. Benjamin Shaub and others in addition to Eric Quinter. Likely collected in the 1920’s or 30’s. Rare!!
