Fluocerite-(Ce), Albite

Little Patsy pegmatite, South Platte Pegmatite Mining District, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA

Excellent, large, rich specimen of well-formed Fluocerite-(Ce) crystals in albite matrix from the Little Patsy Pegmatite, Foxton, South Platte District, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA. I personally collected this specimen around 2014 and sold it to George Kamin, and it was one of the better specimens from this find/locality, so it was a treat to get it back. Very good for this rare REE mineral at the locality. From the noted collection of physicist and engineer Dr. George Kamin of Arcadia, California. Rare!!
