Plumbomicrolite

Ploskaya Mountain, Western Keivy Massif, Keivy Mountains, Lovozersky District, Murmansk Oblast, Russia

Superb large, well-formed cluster of impressively-dense octahedral crystals of the rare Tantalum mineral Plumbomicrolite with minor Amazonite from Kievy, Russia! These are VERY hard to find for sale in my experience and this is a great example which I sold to my friend Brent Lockhart and was quite happy to get back recently in a trade! It comes with a custom acrylic display base by the Sunnywood Collection and was previously part of the collection of noted pegmatite scientist and mineralogist Dr. Eugene Foord. Rare!!
