Outstanding large, very well-formed group of jet-black orthorhombic Samarskite-(Y) crystals in Albite feldspar matrix collected around the year 2012-2013 at the now-extinct Spinelli prospect, Glastonbury, Hartford Co., Connecticut, USA. MUCH better in person, this is likely one of the better examples of the species known at the locality! Ex. Eric Quinter, Tony Albini Collections. Rare!!
