Topaz

Gorgeous, excellent gem topaz crystal with a rich champagne-yellow color from the famous Sakangyi pegmatites near Mogok, Myanmar. Great quality for this locality, with rich color, great transparency, and good size. With the pegmatite being largely mined out and also the current civil unrest in Myanmar we are unlikely to see more of these fantastic gem topaz crystals anytime soon. Mark Cross photo.
