Superb, very large cubic Uraninite crystal with good form and a noticeable ‘heft’ even though it’s in a perky box (!) from the famous Cardiff Uranium Mine, Highlands East Township, Haliburton County, Ontario, Canada. For this locality this is an exceptional specimen. Measures ~100,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
