Very neat specimen in which a petrified wood limb has been completely replaced by high-grade uranium mineralization. A core of dense solid uraninite is surrounded by colorful secondary uranium minerals. Measures an impressive 160,000+ CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
