Nice rich specimen of bright yellow Zippeite on Coffinite matrix from the Section 33 mine in Grants, New Mexico. Mounted in a plastic box for safe display as seen. Good example of this uncommon uranium mineral. Ex. New Mexico Mineral Museum. Measures ~80,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 ‘pancake’ probe. Rare!!
