Russia’s Berezovsk Gold mining district has been a classic mineral locality for hundreds of years and is the type locality for numerous species, including Crocoite and Vauquelinite. This fine miniature features bright red well-formed crocoite crystals to 1 cm. in a matrix of bright green Vauquelinite. The specimen is a ‘floater’ with great crystals on all sides.
