This is an excellent group of well-formed cubic black uraninite crystals in dark purple fluorite matrix from a super classic locality for the species, the Richardson mine (Fission mine) in Canada’s famous Bancroft area. Features well-formed, sharp crystals to ~1.4 cm. in an attractive cluster in matrix. Measures ~180,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!!
