A near-solid specimen of high-grade uranium ore composed of massive pitchblende with minor dark purple fluorite, from this classic and uncommon German locality better known for it’s colorful fluorite specimens. Very nice example of this uncommon material. Quite HOT too, measuring ~180,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
