A great example of the crystallized bayleyite, forming vivid yellow crystals on sandstone matrix from a well-known locality for the mineral, the Grants District in northern New Mexico. Measures ~50,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Very bright fluorescence under U.V. light. Rare!
