Description
Species: Beryl var. Morganite, Tourmaline
Locality: Shigar Valley region, Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
Size: 3.3 x 2 x 2 cm.
A true “jewel”, this gorgeous gemmy, lustrous pale pink morganite crystal partly encloses a dark green tourmaline crystal that “spears” part of the crystal. Complex morphology, glassy faces, and zero damage make this a a very fine gem crystal “toenail” from older finds. Ex. Fred Parker Collection. Mark Cross photo.
