The Dalnegorsk Mining District in far eastern Russia is known for it’s world-class fluorite specimens that occur in a variety of colors. This is a HUGE group of lustrous, gemmy, intense mint-green crystals to over 20 cm(!) with a well-defined internal phantom in the largest fluorite. This superb fluorite was collected in the early 1990s (likely from the Nikoleavskiy mine), and fluorite specimens of this size and quality have not been found in many years in Dalnegorsk. The condition of the crystals is quite good as seen, and this stunning display piece would look good in any collection. Dalnegorsk fluorites like this are simply not available anymore.
