This is a very large, chunky, sharp single hematite crystal with an uncommon psuedocubic form from the classic Brazilian locality of Casa de Pedra. Great luster with attractive parallel surface striations, this is an old specimen from a collection dating back to the 60s and 70s. It’s complete all around with some indentations from other crystals on top near the back, but remarkably pristine with only a couple small nicks. Even the bottom is rehealed. Weighs 2 pounds and 14 ounces! Classic!! Mark Cross photo.
