Ex. George Kamin Collection
Outstanding large, very rich specimen of the rare Thallium Lead Arsenic Sulfosalt mineral Hutchinsonite (to nearly 1 cm!) on sulfide mineral matrix from the “best of species” one-time find perhaps a decade ago at the Quiruvilca Mine, Quiruvilca District, Santiago de Chuco Province, La Libertad, Peru. These are hard to come by especially in this size and quality range! Rare!
We are proud to present the collection of Dr. George Kamin of Arcadia, California. Dr. Kamin, a respected physicist and biotechnical engineer with numerous patents and peer-reviewed papers to his name, build a large and superb collection of minerals from around the world, specializing in rare element minerals, rare species, and fluorescent minerals. We recently acquired the bulk of the Kamin collection and will be offering select minerals online in the coming months! Stay tuned for more!
