Excellent specimen of very sharp, complexly-twinned “herringbone” style silver crystals on calcite matrix from the Vinoren mines, Kongsberg Mining District, Buskerud Region, Norway. While the Vinoren mines, part of the iconic Kongsberg Silver Mining District, are known for these classic ‘herringbone’ style dendritic silver crystals, the crystals on this specimen are WAY better than most from this locality… sharp, sturdy, and very aesthetic!
