Ex. Mike Nowicki Collection
An outstanding Russian classic from this 19th century, this choice specimen features a sharp, bright blue, undamaged 3 cm. topaz crystal perched aesthetically on a smoky quartz crystal. Prized for their beauty and rarity for hundreds of years, fine Murzinka topaz specimens were the “gold standard” for the species long before Brazil, Pakistan or the USA became contenders. This classic specimen is in fine condition and comes with a custom milled acrylic display stand. Mike Nowicki acquired it from Herb Obodda in 1965. Mark Cross photo. Classic!!
