This is a beautifully-intricate, 3-dimensional “tripod” of well-formed, perfectly patina’d native copper crystals from the iconic Quincy mine in Michigan. The crystals are sharp and complex, and even the tiny ones towards the top of the specimen are very high-quality and better than the photo might suggest. The specimen has a super patina and good luster, and stands nicely on it’s own for display. Just a great Michigan copper, from the collection of a noted dealer and collector in Calumet, Michigan. Mark Cross photo. Classic!!
