For most serious collectors of radioactive minerals, the famous Ruggles mine in New Hampshire need no introduction. This is an unusual specimen for the locality, featuring rich and vivid yellow to green uranophane and autunite (fluorescent) on greenish fluorapatite and pegmatite matrix. Has several old collection numbers on it.Fairly HOT as well, over 120,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 counter. A rare specimen for the Ruggles mine!
