Ex. David P. Wilber Collection

This is a highly-unusual specimen, featuring a complete vein (around 2 cm wide) of crystalline uraninite with minor orange-yellow “gummit” cutting pegmatite, from the famous Palermo pegmatite in New Hampshire, USA. Not only visually-striking and unique, but a very HOT specimen at over 250,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. One of my favorite Wilber collection radioactives!
