Outstanding, well-crystallized specimen of Cryolite with minor Siderite from the famous Ivigtut Mine, Ivigtut Stock, Arsuk Fjord, Sermersooq, Greenland. Cryolite specimens exhibiting well-formed crystals like this are exceedingly rare and have not been found in 100+ years. Most are in museums and indeed this fine small cabinet-sized example bears an older label from the Geological Museum in Copenhagen! Rare and much better in person!!
