Spain’s Asturias region is world-famous for it’s beautiful and varied fluorite specimens. This is a choice example from the well-known Emilio mine, composed of very unusual tetrahexeahedral crystals, with great violet-blue color (better in person), no damage, and gemmy crystals. The fluorite crystals have inclusions of cinnabar and pyrite, very unusual for this species! The specimen is a complete ‘floater’ and displays great. A high-quality Spanish fluorite from the collection of Raul Sanabria. Mark Cross photo.
