Botryoidal mimetite specimens from San Pedro Corralitos, discovered in a huge cave-like single pocket in 1968 by Benny Fenn and others, have become some of the most desirable and classic of all Mexican minerals. Their vibrant yellow-orange color, botryoidal form, and often large size make these supremely-aesthetic mineral specimens. This is a great large cabinet-size example with thick, bright yellow mimetite filling a large geode-like pocket in matrix. These are not common on the market especially in large examples!
