This is a great Australian copper from the Rocklands mine in Cloncurry, Queensland. This fine specimen is composed of a network of sharp spinel-twinned crystals surrounded by smaller, more equant dodecahedral copper crystals, creating a great aesthetic effect. Has a wonderful patina as seen and can be displayed from multiple angles. Really in the upper few % for quality of all the many tons of native copper discovered at the Rocklands mine from ~2012 to the mine’s closure in 2017. Mark Cross photos.
