Excellent large specimen of lustrous black pyrochlore crystals to 1 cm. which are nicely exposed along a vein of contrasting white calcite, from Vein #40, Veshnovogorsk, Casagunsk Oblast, Russia. An excellent example of this uncommon Niobium mineral from a classic Russian locality for the species located in the Ural Mountains. Ex. Eric Quinter Collection.
