This is an excellent LARGE Swiss smoky quartz gwindel, showing beautiful classic gwindel morphology, and added aesthetics with a prismatic “normal” smoky quartz crystal extending off the front of the main gwindel. Large, good quality gwindels have become scarce and pricey, and I think this specimen is a good value for what it is. From the collection of Robert Lindegger of Scarboro, Ontario, who emigrated from Switzerland in the 1960’s and loved classic Swiss minerals. Mark Cross photo.
