Gorgeous cluster of deep-red gemmy rubellite tourmaline crystals on minor smoky quartz matrix from the famous Barra do Salinas locality in Brazil. Fantastic aesthetics, great color, and good transparency make this a very nice Brazilian tourmaline from older finds. Two repairs (to the left crystal) have been professionally done in a mineral lab and are invisible to the naked eye. Fantastic tourmaline! Mark Cross photos.
