This excellent small cabinet-size specimen features three extremely lustrous, sharp, undamaged doubly-terminated rutile crystals to ~2.5 cm perched aesthetically on kyanite matrix. This highly 3-dimensional specimen displays great from multiple sides and is in excellent condition with exceptional luster for the locality. Expert specimen preparation has resulted in a specimen with wonderful display aesthetics and very “aerial” crystals matrix. The leftmost crystal is highly-complex and appears to be an unusual twin form. Rutile crystals of this quality from Graves Mountain are not common, and this is a superb example from this classic American locality which has produced the world’s finest rutile specimens.
