A very interesting large specimen of black uraninite replacing banded dolomite with needle-like crystals on brilliant yellow sklodowskite in small pockets, from the Musonoi mine, Kolwezi, Katanga, Democratic Republic of the Congo. A very nice and quite HOT large specimen of high-grade uranium ore from this famous uranium mineral locality. Measures ~150,000+ on my Ludlum model 3 survey meter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
