A superb and very rich specimen of brilliant yellow uranophane crystals on smoky quartz matrix from the Romas Quarry, Satao, Viseu region, Portugal. A very good example of this rare uranium mineral for this locality and really for about anywhere! Measures ~70,000 CPM on my Ludlum model 3 survey meter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
