A great example of the crystallized uranophane, forming vivid yellow bundles of accicular crystals in vuggy limestone matrix from a well-known locality for the mineral, the Grants District in northern New Mexico. Measures ~50,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Rare!
