Wulfenite specimens from western China’s Jianshan mine, first found about twenty years ago, are world-renowned for their intense true red color, probably the truest “red wulfenite” crystals known. The initial discoveries proved to be largely a one-time find, and good examples of this material are now considered Chinese mineral classics. This is an excellent cabinet-size group of sharp, lustrous, rich red wulfenite crystals to 2.5 cm. A few incomplete crystals to not detract from the aesthetics of this wonderful wulfenite specimen.
