Beautiful combination of lustrous, gemmy amber-colored calcite crystals covering a large color-zoned purple fluorite crystal, with small “ruby jack” sphalerite crystals from the Rosiclare Level, Denton mine, Harris Creek, Hardin County, Illinois, USA. Mined in 1991, and comes with a Northstar Minerals/Ross Lillie label from that time. A true Southern Illinois classic and a very aesthetic combination. Mark Cross photo.
