The iconic Tsumeb mine has produced world-class examples of many species, including cuprite. This is a very fine large miniature of lustrous, dark red to black cuprite crystals to ~8 mm, forming an aesthetic cluster in fine condition. Minor wulfenite is associated with the cuprite crystals. A wonderful old-time Tsumeb cuprite, with great luster and crystal form. Ex. Prosper Williams. Annette Slade photo. Classic!
