This excellent small cabinet-size specimen features several extremely lustrous, sharp, undamaged rutile crystals to 3.5 cm perched aesthetically on iron-stained kyanite matrix. This highly 3-dimensional specimen displays great from multiple sides and is in excellent condition with exceptional luster for the locality. Expert specimen preparation has resulted in a specimen with wonderful display aesthetics and very “aerial” crystals matrix. Rutile crystals of this quality from Graves Mountain are not common, and this is a superb example from this classic American locality which has produced the world’s finest rutile specimens.
