Nice rich specimen of uraninite from the C Group mines, Green River, Emery Co., Utah USA. Measures ~70,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. Nice rich uranium ore sample from a classic Utah locality! Has a lacquer coating to stabilize the specimen as seen, also cut and polished on one face.
