Crystallized blue willemites from Tsumeb have been eagerly sought by mineral connoisseurs for many years, and are very hard to come by, having been found in a very small number of pockets over sixty years ago. This is a superb cabinet-size example with highly-lustrous yellow-blue willemite crystals and botryoidal growths forming aesthetic, 3-dimensional stalactites. Ex. Bob Jones collection, Ex. Evan Jones, and Ex. Marshall Sussman specimen. In fine condition and displays great from multiple angles and perspectives. The color varies from rich light blue to a more greenish-blue, and the brownish tone is less noticeable in person, in my opinion (if this was deep blue throughout with this luster and quality it would be $40K+).  If you are a Tsumeb or rarities collector and this is in your wheelhouse, don’t sleep on this one.
