Zincolivenite, a rare arsenate species which is between adamite and olivenite in composition, is one of the prized rarities of the famous Tsumeb mine. This fine miniature features brilliant emerald-green crystals to ~1.5 cm associated with yellow ferrilotharmeyerite, another very rare arsenate species. The color combination is wonderful, and this rare specimen is from the well-documented 1986 find of this species on the 30th level of the mime. The zincolivenite crystals are incomplete in one area of the back, but to be honest given the rarity and aesthetics of this piece I don’t think this really detracts much, especially when displayed on it’s custom engraved acrylic base.
