A gorgeous combination of well-defined “kelly blue” smithsonite crystals on greenish-blue aurichalcite matrix from the famous Kelly mine in New Mexico. Some of my favorite “Kelly smithsonites” are those associated with aurichalcite, and this fine miniature has fantastic color as well as unusually well-defined smithsonite crystals, not just a botryoidal form.
